-Quick mid shot of Ami James (main tattoo artist).
-Voice over of Ami James talking about how you can view there shops work on Miami beach.
-Funky music in the back ground.
-Close ups of mainly women's tattoos (in bikinis on the beach).
-Close ups of the peoples faces to show them looking happy and that they love their tattoo.
-Close ups of woman parts, as the show appeals to mostly men.
-High camera angle of the tattoo shop full of people outsite, to show that the shop is always busy because they do amazing tattoos.
-Voice over now saying how he (Ami) works with three other tattoo artists and while he says this the camera has quick mid shots of each one in turn.
-The introduction now goes from normal filming to edited clips with the Miami Ink logo to break this up.
-Chris Nunez is first to be introduced which Ami does this in his voice over. -Darren Brass' short introduction has edited with him doing graffiti which is his speciality (graffiti style tattoos) so that promotes what he does best.
-His name is written in an old English styled writting with him holding the tattoo pen as if he writ it.
-Chris Gaver has close ups of his own tattoos on his introduction to show them off. He has a cool feel to his section where he walks past the camera cool and calm, this shows his personality off as he is very laid back about things.
-Yogi Harada has a short introduction as he is only an apprentice. It shows edited clips of his sweeping up to show what his job is in the shop.
-Kat Von D is introduced last and she was the last member of the crew, they take a pretty shot of her face as she is the only girl in the shop so they want to show her off to the audience. (male gaze)
-Editing finishes and it goes back to normal filming where an over head camera comes down infront of all 6 members of the shop standing infront of a nice car, all looking cool. This is to show power.
-The logo Miami Ink fades in infront of the artists.
-Zooms into the tattoo shop as Ami is explaining what happens this week.
-He introduces all the people who are going to be on the show in this episode, giving a brief explanation of why they are there and what they are getting.
-8 short clips of the artist tattooing different people, having a laugh and enjoying them selfs. To show that they are a serious business but can enjoy them selfs too.
